DYI Hat Band
DIY Hat Band
I always finish off my outfit by styling it with a hat. Whether I’m headed to the rodeo, or the grocery store, my hat is what I grab before walking out the door. Lately, I have enjoyed changing up my hat and making it my own. I’m sharing a few DIY hat bands you can choose, depending on your mood, occasion, or overall preference!
Look One:
For this hat band, I took a beautiful thin dotted burlap ribbon and braided it. I allowed any imperfections to come along with it. Finding dried baby breath in my house, I stuck some in through the ribbon to create a unique look. You can also pin it through the braid for a more stable setting. This look would be fun for any brunch or day date with the cowboy! It just has a very romantic feel to it.
Look Two:
This edgy but southern look would be perfect for that night out or country concert. I bought this jean like material knowing it would be perfect with any decorative feather. The pretty blue pop of color turns heads. It creates exactly the look I was hoping to create..
Look Three:
This look is the spring time hat of my dreams. The gunnysack ribbon with the lace, adds a touch that makes me want to be out in the garden, or driving through town with the windows down. Pair this with your favorite jean shorts and a white t-shirts and you’re ready for your day.
Look Four:
Headed to the rodeo? Tie any of your silk scarfs around the hat to match your outfit, and then throw on your boots. We used our olive paisley bandana, to bring out that fun rodeo look. It’s so simple, just tie it in a double knot then tuck in the straps for a pinched complete look.
